Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has promised to institute processes and support moves to expose the policemen who brutalised and detained a nursing mother, Mrs. Toyin Adeyeye. Adeyeye was last Friday allegedly beaten by about five policemen at a checkpoint. They later detained her alongside her two-month-old baby, Heritage, and her younger brother, Adeniyi Dada, at the New Iyin Police Station.
