Knowing the time of your visitation

Published

on

When God created the world, He also designed and ordered time for each occurrence. So, every event in this world has a time allotted to happen. The world and its natural components did not appear at same time but in sequences. Heaven and earth were first created, then came the light, the separation of darkness from the light, the space and water, the bursting forth of the land with every sort of grass and seed bearing plant, the separation of day and night vis-à-vis sun and moon, the creation of fishes and etc.

None of these events came same time but all at its own time. So everything in this world has to do with time. Ecc. 3: 1-4 says, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up” There is a time for everything. We do strongly confess even when we go through times of darkness that our times of deliverance and freedom are in God’s hand. He alone knows when it is His time to visit us. He allocates time to each event according to how it pleases Him, but would want us to make the most out of each time that He presents to us.

Therefore time is an integral part of our lives. We should always be cautious of what the time is, what is happening at the time, what we are expected to do and what we are really doing. It is very important that we should know when it is our time for the divine intervention of God in our favour.

More importantly now that God is moving His time toward the final end of history, thus there are calamities, sorrows and miseries in the land. It is a sign that the time allocated to rapture is very near. Lots of signs have appeared to properly inform us that the time of the end is here.

We must not be ignorant of this time in order not to miss rapture. We should know that, the time of God’s gracious offers of mercy to us is now. And it will be foolishness on the path of the ignorant if such a great offer is so neglected, for there will be no escape after this time.

Of course, no person shall escape the judgement and wrath of God if he dies without mercy? And now is your time of visitation for mercy, so, don’t miss it! 2Co 6:2, “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

There is a particular time wherein God is pleased to pour out His blessing of mercy.

And this is that particular time: that time of a peculiar blessing. Behold, now is that accepted time, now is the day of salvation; that is, the very time in which the mercy of God is present to heal, deliver and in which every sinner who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ may be saved.

Luke 19: 43-44, “For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation” Beloved, do not neglect this offer to amend your life, for this time may be the very last time when God’s mercy shall be offered to you.

This may be your last opportunity to repent. I therefore entreat you to take advantage of this time and be saved, for this is your time of visitation when God

Pressing forward

Published

Dr OLUSEGUN ADELEYE …Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on. That I may lay hold of that of which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Philippians 3:12 A Christ-like life is progressive and a continuous one. You cannot have enough of it and therefore do not relax and feel that you have apprehended or attained it. A new life in Christ is never stagnant. For the acceleration of new things to come, it is necessary to “forget those things which are behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead” (Philippians 3: 13).

There are two kinds of past that must not be dwelt upon. First, is past virtuous deeds that make one to be full of empty satisfaction and contentment. Reliance on past achievements can hinder pressing forward to attract new th ings. Second is the danger of dwelling on sins, past failures and unpalatable experience.

Dwelling on the past may hinder the materialization of the present and the fulfillment of a bright future. Pray like this: Lord, have mercy upon me, forgive all ‘my iniquities, let not my past hinder my present and future in the name of Jesus. My life shall not be stagnant in Jesus name. Rev. Dr Olusegun Adeleye (08033014891- SMS only, 08035022884). He is the General Overseer of Christian Overcomers Mission (Oluwagbebe s street Ilupeju Estate, Akowonjo, Lagos.

Nigeria project, no man’s affair

Published

The mountain that appears insurmountable in the lives of many people and our nation Nigeria are not caused by the devil, but by their wrong mindset. When the mind of a man is set on wrong things like defeat, failure, impossibility, poverty,… Such a man cannot experience something different from what he occupies his mind with.

But when you think right, you will be energized to act right, and great thing will come your way. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:’ Prov. 23: Take for example in our nation Nigeria today are feeling the pains of lawlessness, corruption, insecurity, poor medical facilities, bad education system, embezzlement, etc.

We know what we need, but we don’t know how to get them. Everybody seeks his personal comfort even at the expense of others. Our youths are helping in building other nations while our land suffers. Those who could not ‘run away’, though strong and vibrant are wasting away for lack of opportunity. Revelation without reformation cannot bring transformation. We need God to help us and we need God fearing people to manage our blessed resources for our common good. God Bless Nigeria. Evang. Pathway to divine blessing

Published

Do not be deceived; for whatsoever a man’s sows that shall he also reap… Galatians 6:7 Some fruits are sweet while others are bitter. So it is with us. Someone produces fruits and someone else doesn’t. The one that produces fruits is blessed and the fruits are blessed. Our Lord Jesus Christ’s Body was blessed and so were the fruits from His Body: His sputum healed the blind; objects from Peter and Paul’s bodies healed and delivered the sick.

They laid hands on the sick and they recovered. Therefore, like my Lord and the disciples, everything that is in me and comes out of my body is blessed. We had also learnt about THE BLESSING, which God Himself places on His children as the priest speaks it. Today, we have God’s spoken blessing upon the righteous. I repeat, God, who is the Blesser is the One speaking these blessings this evening.

Therefore, the blessings are as sure to happen as He has spoken them. Prayer My blessing covers everything about me: my health is blessed; my family is blessed; my organization is blessed; my Church is blessed; my country is blessed; everything I touch is blessed; Receive God’s spoken Word of blessings: Deuteronomy 28:1-14, by speaking it out and clinging to every word in faith. This message is to celebrate 41st wedding anniversary of Dr & Rev (Mrs) Mike/Mary Ohironoya. Note: 70th birthday anniversary celebration is loading. Watch out!
