Ex-international, Patrick Pascal, has said Wikki Tourists will rise again and end the season on a high note. The Super Eagles team coordinator was announced as an adviser for the Nigeria Professional Football League side, and had been tasked alongside others to take the club from the brim of relegation.
Speaking with our correspondent, Pascal said the new board was doing everything possible to rescue the club and possibly get to play on the continent. “The position the club find themselves was not the best but we are working hard as a board to take them away. “Wikki is a big club and should be fighting to play on the continent like they did in the last two seasons, however the second half is another opportunity to right the wrongs.
“The constitution of the committee is a step in the right direction. We would do our best to keep Wikki Tourists in the top flight. “My role is advisory but the General Manager knows the league very well. He should be able to lead the revival of the club,” he said.
