All is set for the CORA/NLNG Book Party, which is in respect of the 2017 the Nigeria Prize for Literature short-list of 11 writers.

Since 2010, the Committee for Relevant Art (CORA) has been a critical partner in the projection to the attention of the public the literary works shortlisted for the prestigious Nigeria Prize for Literature. This is through the annual Book Party, which is facilitated by the Nigeria LNG Limited, promoters of the Prize.

CORA stated that the objective of the Book Party, as manifested in the past editions, “is to ensure that we bring the short-listed writers and books face-to-face with the literary audiences, so that we could create conversations around the work and the author. Since the first edition, the Book Party has become a platform through which the shortlisted writers are engaged on their work by the public.

The Book Party holds on Sunday 6th August, 2017, at Terra Kulture Arena, Victoria Island, Lagos.
