God’s Power Dominion Ministries celebrates eleventh year

Members of God’s Power Dominion Ministry International in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State last Sunday marked their 11 years of God’s faithfulness.
The 11th anniversary, which was done at the Church’s headquarters, Breakthrough Cathedral, kicked off on November 1 and ended on the 5th.
Speaking on the theme of the convention, ‘Breaking Forth Without Limits’, the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor I. A. Charles, thanked the Almighty God for taking the Church thus far.
He recounted the initial challenges; the man of God said God has taken the Church from grass to grace. He said: “When we started here, the whole area was flooded; there was a pool of water around the church which one must cross before entering the church. We had to put a monkey bridge from where there was water to where there was no water”.
The cleric also disclosed that he used to call the water the pool of Bethsider. “We have moved from one stage to another. We have fought battles. We have faced a lot of embarrassment and encouragement. We embraced them. It is only a fool that will not be able to recognise where God has taken him to.
“We stated under a canopy but today God has given us a place to stay. We have branches and churches in and outside the country. We are grateful to God.
“We are not just celebrating because we are 11 years old but we are celebrating 11 years of Gods faithfulness, 11 years of fruitfulness”. He said.
“Above all, God gave me a wife. Not just a wife but a coach and quality men who do what Pastor tells them to do”.
Also speaking at the service, Apostle Paul Silas from South Africa thanked God for what he is doing in the Ministry. He said he came to celebrate with a friend in his 11 years of God’s fruitfulness.
Also Pastor Ezihe from United States of America said that the labour of the man of God will not go in vain.
Narrating their level of closeness before he left Nigeria, Pastor Ezihe said those days in the university, they were always going out to preach without seeing at anything but expressed gratitude to God for taking his friend thus far.
Advising the members, he said “You are here for a purpose adding that God will surely reward their effort.
Earlier on the programme, Pastor Joshua Talena of Shepherd’s House International had blessed the people with prayers. The high point of the celebration was the cutting of the anniversary cake.
