Encounter with fresh oil through praise

Published

on

We understand from scriptures that fresh oil (the anointing of the Holy Ghost) is the master key to a world of exploits. Also, as long as the oil remains fresh, continuous and unstoppable breakthroughs are guaranteed. Interestingly, among the mysteries in praise is an encounter with fresh oil. This is why only praiseful believers enjoy fresh oil.
Obviously, God the Anointer is also the custodian of the anointing. For instance, we saw how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38). However, the journey to having fresh oil begins with seeking access to God’s presence and there is no other way to access His presence except through praise. As it is written: Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing (Psalm 100:1-2; 92:10, 14).
This implies that we can’t access His presence by bombarding His gates with complaints and murmurings. If we must enjoy fresh oil, we must understand the protocols of how to get across to His presence. In order words, we must follow the divine protocol of giving thanks, praise and worship which ushers us into His presence where we are anointed with fresh oil. This is what makes praise a covenant platform for encounter with fresh oil.

Why do we need fresh oil?
• To silence the enemy and the avenger: We live in a wicked world and as such it takes the anointing to stop the wicked from harassing our lives (Psalm 74:20; 1 John 5:19; Psalm 92:10).

• To have dominion above sickness and diseases: We understand that most of the sicknesses and diseases are direct oppressions of the devil, hence; we need fresh oil to live above all manner of sicknesses and diseases (Matthew 10:1; Acts 10:38).

• To be exempted from all the evils of the day: Fresh oil is a mark of exemption against the evil of the day. Also, Fresh oil makes you indestructible and unmolestable (Ezekiel 9:5-6; Ephesians 1:13).
• Access to deep revelations: Every provision in scriptures is only accessible by revelation. It is by revelation we possess our possessions in Christ. If we don’t have the spiritual understanding of the scripture, we may never live to experience the benefits therein. However, through the anointing, we see what others can’t see in scriptures, thereby putting an end to every struggle of our lives.
• Access to divine wisdom: We understand that divine wisdom is only accessible by inspiration. As it is written: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). This implies that God’s word is God’s wisdom in print and it takes inspiration to experience it, but praise is the facilitator of inspiration.

Ø Among the content of this fresh oil is supernatural joy: Fresh oil is the custodian of supernatural joy and unstoppable gladness. On the other hand, just like there is the spirit of joy, there is also the spirit of heaviness, which is one of the devil’s acts of spiritual wickedness to put the spirit of heaviness upon a man, so as to disqualify him access to God’s presence, where his solution lies. This is because until the oil comes, the yoke cannot be destroyed. Therefore, by that oil, I decree an end to every air of depression around anyone’s life, in Jesus name! (Isaiah 61:3; Acts 2:13; 1 Peter 1:8).

However, you don’t have access to fresh oil if you are not born again. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!”

Pressing forward

Dr OLUSEGUN ADELEYE …Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on. That I may lay hold of that of which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Philippians 3:12 A Christ-like life is progressive and a continuous one. You cannot have enough of it and therefore do not relax and feel that you have apprehended or attained it. A new life in Christ is never stagnant. For the acceleration of new things to come, it is necessary to “forget those things which are behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead” (Philippians 3: 13).

There are two kinds of past that must not be dwelt upon. First, is past virtuous deeds that make one to be full of empty satisfaction and contentment. Reliance on past achievements can hinder pressing forward to attract new th ings. Second is the danger of dwelling on sins, past failures and unpalatable experience.

Dwelling on the past may hinder the materialization of the present and the fulfillment of a bright future. Pray like this: Lord, have mercy upon me, forgive all ‘my iniquities, let not my past hinder my present and future in the name of Jesus. My life shall not be stagnant in Jesus name. Rev. Dr Olusegun Adeleye (08033014891- SMS only, 08035022884). He is the General Overseer of Christian Overcomers Mission (Oluwagbebe s street Ilupeju Estate, Akowonjo, Lagos.

Nigeria project, no man’s affair

Published

The mountain that appears insurmountable in the lives of many people and our nation Nigeria are not caused by the devil, but by their wrong mindset. When the mind of a man is set on wrong things like defeat, failure, impossibility, poverty,… Such a man cannot experience something different from what he occupies his mind with.

But when you think right, you will be energized to act right, and great thing will come your way. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:’ Prov. 23: Take for example in our nation Nigeria today are feeling the pains of lawlessness, corruption, insecurity, poor medical facilities, bad education system, embezzlement, etc.

We know what we need, but we don’t know how to get them. Everybody seeks his personal comfort even at the expense of others. Our youths are helping in building other nations while our land suffers. Those who could not ‘run away’, though strong and vibrant are wasting away for lack of opportunity. Revelation without reformation cannot bring transformation. We need God to help us and we need God fearing people to manage our blessed resources for our common good. God Bless Nigeria. Evang. Pathway to divine blessing

Published

Do not be deceived; for whatsoever a man’s sows that shall he also reap… Galatians 6:7 Some fruits are sweet while others are bitter. So it is with us. Someone produces fruits and someone else doesn’t. The one that produces fruits is blessed and the fruits are blessed. Our Lord Jesus Christ’s Body was blessed and so were the fruits from His Body: His sputum healed the blind; objects from Peter and Paul’s bodies healed and delivered the sick.

They laid hands on the sick and they recovered. Therefore, like my Lord and the disciples, everything that is in me and comes out of my body is blessed. We had also learnt about THE BLESSING, which God Himself places on His children as the priest speaks it. Today, we have God’s spoken blessing upon the righteous. I repeat, God, who is the Blesser is the One speaking these blessings this evening.

Therefore, the blessings are as sure to happen as He has spoken them. Prayer My blessing covers everything about me: my health is blessed; my family is blessed; my organization is blessed; my Church is blessed; my country is blessed; everything I touch is blessed; Receive God’s spoken Word of blessings: Deuteronomy 28:1-14, by speaking it out and clinging to every word in faith. This message is to celebrate 41st wedding anniversary of Dr & Rev (Mrs) Mike/Mary Ohironoya. Note: 70th birthday anniversary celebration is loading. Watch out!
