2019: Buhari’s re-election will mark end of Nigeria –Ohanugo

The governorship candidate of the Better Nigerian People’s Party, Hon. Ikem Ohanugo has said that the re-election of President Mohammed Buhari will be the end of Nigeria.

Hon. Ohanugo who spoke with journalist in his office at Onitsha at the weekend, said that Buhari’s government has failed Nigerians and should be rejected in the 2019 pools If he presents himself as the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ohanugo said that the problem facing Nigeria is lack of political ideology and principle, even as he quarried why somebody who wants to serve Nigeria will be jumping from one political party to another.

He said most Nigeria’s political class are political prostitutes whose interest is not to build a strong political party that has ideal, but just to perpetuate themselves in power to milk the country dry at the detriment of millions of Nigerian youths roaming the street in search of job.

“This is the cause of insecurity and restiveness in the country.

Before the civil war in Nigeria, the names of these cabals surrounding President Buhari now have been making waves in various political formations, yet they are still at the corridor of power with little or nothing to offer.”

He said most of them cannot fit into the present political evolution and trend, yet they believe they are in tune with the best ideals that would enthrone lasting democratic process to reshape the country. He further warned that any mistake to bring back President Mohammed Buhari in 2019 would definitely be the end of Nigeria because there will be secession in the North, South, West and all over the country as already indicated by various ethnic grouping in the country.
