Hotels fully booked in Osun ahead of poll

Virtually all hotels in Osogbo, Osun state capital have been fully booked ahead of the state governorship election slated for September 22.

New Telegraph investigations revealed that most of the intending lodgers have paid management of the hotels since last week, while some made payments early this week to secure accommodation during the election.

Findings further revealed that those that booked these hotels on behalf of their visitors are influential politicians in the state, especially leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democracy Party (PDP) as disclosed by some hotel management and staff, who spoke to our reporter on the condition of anonymity.

Also, at Adekunle Hotel in Osogbo, it was the same story as the receptionists appealed to customers to look elsewhere for their lodgings because the hotel rooms have been fully booked ahead of the September 22 election in the state.
