Can a customer who imported his or her 2016 model Jaguar Land Rover, still be able to enjoy the service at the workshop facility of your Nigerian dealer?
No – only customers who purchased the vehicle from the authorised franchise holder in Nigeria – Coscharis Motors
Why is Jaguar Land Rover coming up with this service for its customers?
This service provides peace of mind and offers customers the reassurance that when they purchase a Jaguar Land Rover product they have a complete care package and his/her vehicle will be serviced by an authorised trained technician.
What is the difference between the existing 100,000km five-year warranty on offer before now for every vehicle sold since April 2015?
There was no five-year warranty in 2015. The five-year warranty was only introduced in June 2017.

Jaguar Land Rover sees a positive outlook across the region with continued growth.
Which are your largest markets on the continent?
Nigeria, Angola, Cote d’ Ivoire Coast, Ghana, South Africa and Kenya.
What is your take on Nigeria’s auto policy?
The policy of local manufacture is a positive step forward. There needs to be more control with the grey market and the quality of cars coming in from so many different countries.
The fuel quality and different engine calibrations are not providing Nigerian customers with the correct specifications for Nigeria. This is the one of the best benefits of the Jaguar Land Rover local five-year care plan for vehicles purchased from our partner Coscharis Motors.
The Nigerian auto market is dominated by the grey market, what do you think is the way out of this?
Stronger regulations, legislation and governance. There is a customer perception that they are purchasing a cheaper vehicle, however this is very short-term view and a Jaguar Land Rover product purchased outside of Nigeria will not carry the global warranty. This is another benefit of the Jaguar Land Rover five-year care plan.
Do you see Jaguar and Land Rover expanding its stake in Nigeria in the nearest future, by way of establishing an assembly plant?
Jaguar Land Rover has no plans to build locally. Nigeria is an important market and we will continue to monitor its continued progress.
