As far as the social scene and the entertainment world is concerned in our clime, especially in the city of Lagos, influence of son to the late foremost magician, Professor Peller, Shina, who is also known as Aquila can’t be undermined as he presently stands tall as one of the big spenders on the scene even as he owns and runs one of the most patronized night clubs around, Quilox.
The latest about the gangling dude is that he’s ventured into partisan politics and he’s steadily making headway even as he’s secured ticket on the platform of APC to vie for a seat at the lower chambers of the National Assembly, House of the Representatives to represent a federal constituency in Oyo State.
However, this dude recently got more than he ever bargained for as he was baptized with fire by ever aggressive social media trolls. In the spirit of being a party man, Shina had innocently aired his view about the presidential candidates of the APC, President Buhari and that of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, extolling the virtue of the former as man of integrity while his comment on the latter suggested he’s a corrupt man that should not be given a chance at the polls come presidential election day.
Shina had barely made his submission that his post began to attract responses. To say Shina ended up having his ego deflated and his image smeared can only say little of the backlash he got from thousands who described him as a kettle calling pot black. Going by the impression of Shina chorused by the social media dwellers, many are now left with the impression the dude built his empire by living on fast lane.
