Customs killings: Ogun donates N1m to family of slain driver

The Ogun State Government Tuesday donated the sum of N1million to the family of Saubana Koleosho, who was recently shot dead allegedly by men of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in the state.

Koleosho, popularly known as Onila, was a commercial driver killed along Kobape road, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state on March 8.
Customs operatives had reportedly shot at the driver on the suspicion that he was carrying smuggled bags of rice in his car.
But Tuesday, the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, donated the N1million sum to the family of the deceased.
Adeoluwa said the donation was to take care of some of the immediate needs of the wife and children of the late driver.
He assured that the state government would pursue the matter and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
