EPL: United end Chelsea jinx as Reds squeeze past Baggies

Manchester United did Chelsea’s title rivals Spurs a favour and kept up their pursuit of the top four with a dominant win over the leaders at Old Trafford.
The first goal was a controversial one with Ander Herrera appearing to handle the ball before setting up Marcus Rashford to finish low from an angle.
Herrera fired in the second himself, via a deflection off Kurt Zouma.
United trail fourth by four points, the same margin that separates Chelsea from second-placed Tottenham.
Earlier, Roberto Firmino scored a winner for the second weekend running as Liverpool beat West Brom to go third in the Premier League.
The Brazil striker headed in at the end of the first half after Lucas Leiva had glanced on James Milner’s free-kick.
Milner volleyed over Liverpool’s clearest second-half chance, as they secured a fifth win in seven games.
They needed Simon Mignolet to make a late save with his legs as Matt Phillips burst through to shoot, reports the BBC.
Man United 2 – 0 Chelsea
WBA 0 – 1 Liverpool
