NPFL: MFM target top position against Abia Warriors

MFM FC of Lagos are looking to return to the top of the Nigeria Professional Football Legaue table with a victory against Abia Warriors in one of the midweek matches scheduled for Wednesday (today).

Plateau United moved back to the top position after their weekend’s victory over ABS as MFM faltered against Gombe against Gombe United. MFM striker, Adegboyega Adekunle, says: “We are prepared for the game tomorrow against Abia Warriors.

It is a match we must win with a good number of goals and I believe we will make our fans proud at the end of the day.”

Enyimba have played four matches without losing and their towering midfielder Kelly Kester, believes they can extend the run against Wikki Tourists as they both play today in Bauchi.

Kester says: “Seeing how we have performed in the last five games or so, we can only see ourselves gradually climb to the top of the log with luck and God on our side.”
