An political group, Buhari Support Organisation (BSO), Enugu State chapter, has demanded an apology from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over what it described as the damage inflicted on the Nigerian economy by the immediate past administration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan. Vigilantes beat man to death with charms

A 28-year-old businessman, Tayo Olatunbosun, has been allegedly killed by two members of Vigilante Service of Nigeria (VSN) at Adiyan, a community in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State. The vigilantes, identified as Ismaila Jimoh and Hassan Olatunde, have been arrested by the police. The suspects were said to have nabbed Olatunbosun, who was selling phones and laptops, in the Adiyan area on Saturday for allegedly stealing a hair dryer. Federation Elections: Guidelines split aspirants, administrators

Sports administrators and aspirants into the boards of the National Sports Federations are sharply divided over the guidelines released for the forthcoming elections. The police in Ogun State have arrested a 37-year-old man, Ifeanyi Ajaero, for allegedly chaining his wife to a generating set. The suspect was said to have used a handcuff to chain Obiageli, 28, to the generator till day break after he seriously battered her.
