Eight die, 24 injured in Lagos, Ogun

Eight people lost their lives yesterday while about 19 others were injured in auto crashes in Lagos and Ogun states. Five people were burnt to death yesterday while five others were injured at the popular Barracks Bus Stop, Surulere when a Volkswagen commercial bus known as Danfo caught fire while descending from the popular National Stadium Bridge on Funsho Williams Avenue. Vigilantes beat man to death with charms

A 28-year-old businessman, Tayo Olatunbosun, has been allegedly killed by two members of Vigilante Service of Nigeria (VSN) at Adiyan, a community in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State. The vigilantes, identified as Ismaila Jimoh and Hassan Olatunde, have been arrested by the police. The suspects were said to have nabbed Olatunbosun, who was selling phones and laptops, in the Adiyan area on Saturday for allegedly stealing a hair dryer. Cultists fight over girls, vandalise vehicles

Youths suspected to be cult members yesterday went on the rampage and vandalised vehicles, tricycles and motorcycles parked on the streets as well as shops at Agbado Station, a community in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.
