NSA probes N15bn recovery

The National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Mohammed Monguno (rtd), has begun an investigation into the recovery of about N15 billion by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This is as President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), to submit a report on the recovery. Vigilantes beat man to death with charms

A 28-year-old businessman, Tayo Olatunbosun, has been allegedly killed by two members of Vigilante Service of Nigeria (VSN) at Adiyan, a community in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State. The vigilantes, identified as Ismaila Jimoh and Hassan Olatunde, have been arrested by the police. The suspects were said to have nabbed Olatunbosun, who was selling phones and laptops, in the Adiyan area on Saturday for allegedly stealing a hair dryer.
