WAEC introduces another diet for private candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), has announced that beginning from 2018, its West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates would hold more than once. This was announced in Lagos yesterday by the Registrar of the examination body, Dr. Uyi Uwadiae, during an interaction with journalists at the WAEC International Office, Agidingbi. Exam malpractice: Five principals demoted in Ebonyi

Five principals of public secondary schools in Ebonyi State had been demoted to classroom teachers for aiding and abating examination malpractice during the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in the school. Also, 25 teachers and supervisors indicted in the malpractice had been placed on half salaries for three months. Suspected ritual killers, now tagged Badoo, have murdered a candidate sitting for the ongoing Senior West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) conducted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) at Ibeshe Tuntun, Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
